Christmas Tree Run

Terry and I just got back from getting our Christmas tree. We decided to go on the Christmas Tree Run with our 4-wheel drive club the Timber Tamers. Since there wasn't much snow, we left the Jeep at home and took the truck. We met in Monroe and had breakfast before stopping at the ranger station to get our Christmas Tree permits. What a deal, a tree for $10. You really can't beat that. From there, we drove up the hill. I found a tree right off and realized that I am not to picky when it comes to my tree. After that, we hung out for a while and talked while other people picked out and cut down their trees. It was a lot of fun and I am glad that we decided to go. I hope that every year we can get our tree this way as it was a lot better than picking one up at the grocery store. I can't wait to bring it in the house and decorate it tomorrow!

Even though it has a lot of character, I love my tree!

We did find a little snow, but it sure was cold
