Chistmas 2008

We woke up on Christmas morning to more snow. About an inch fell over night. I went in the house and visited with my parents first thing in the morning while Terry called his family to wish them a Merry Christmas. Once Terry was inside, we opened presents. It was fun to try and take time to see what people received. Terry and I surprised the family and had family pictures taken while we were at Eagle Lake over the summer. Everyone seemed to enjoy them.

After presents and breakfast, we went back outside to play in the snow. We did some more sledding. My dad brought out the 3-wheeler and my mom even came out and tugged my dad around the front yard for a little bit. After getting tired of sledding, we decided to build a snowman on the back porch. It turned out well. We also took all the dogs for a walk in the snow and made snow angels before heading inside for dinner.

Overall, the day was a lot of fun. It was nice waking up to a white Christmas and we had fun playing in the snow all day. We will have to get a bigger sled for next year though as ours finally did break.
