Finally Friday and Extremely Excited

So, I am VERY excited it's finally Friday. I know that it was only a 4-day work week, but it felt like the week took forever. There are several things I am very excited about right now:

1) I made this cute scrapbook page summarzing the events of August. I hope to make one at the end of every month as I think it is super cute (I got the idea from Scrapbooking & Beyond magazine; I wish I was talented enough to think about it on my own).

2) Tomorrow we are hiking the Heliotrope Ridge trail near Mount Baker. From the pictures I have seen, it is going to be amazing (see preview pic I found online below).



3) I finally got the talked about book Twilight (it's next on my list to read). I hope it's as good as everyone has proclaimed.

Spring Cleaning

So, I am a procrastinator by choice. I would much rather say I choose to wait until the last minute to do things than say I am lazy. You decide. Anyways, I am feeling accomplished today as I finally got around to cleaning the carpets in our house. I saved some of the goo that I dumped from the cleaner to show the husband since I didn't think the carpets looked any difference. It was my way to prove to him the job got done. He said it looked great!

Front yard work

So, I worked in the front yard all day yesterday. My back is sore today, and I am happy about the work I completed, but I think most people wouldn't be able to see a difference in the yard. Can you tell that work was done???

Seahawks Game

Terry and I had a great time at the Seahawk's game on Friday. It's nice going to a game and watching the team you like actually win.

Summer Showers??

I hate summer showers, I think that summer is for the sun. Maybe the sun will come back someday soon.
